The Marker Park playground structures have been well-loved and heavily utilized by our community for approximately 30 years. However, due to age, natural wear and tear, and recent damage, certain elements of the playground no longer meet modern safety considerations.

Because replacement parts for these older models are no longer manufactured, we will be removing the compromised components in the interest of safety.

What to Expect:

• Safety Removals: Selected worn or damaged components will be removed permanently.
• Consolidation: To ensure the kids still have a place to play, viable parts from the equipment will be moved and combined to maintain one consolidated play structure.
• Future Plans: This is a temporary measure to keep the park functional and safe until funding can be secured for a full replacement and total renovation of the play area.
